Jack J. Jordan, 90, left us January 22, 2014 at his home in Post Falls, Idaho. He was born in Washtucna, Washington on February 18, 1923 to Rev. Hugh R. and Mayme M. (Camp) Jordan. He grew up in Washington and Idaho and met the love of his life Charlene Anderson in Wilder, Idaho. They married on August 9, 1941.
Jack was a decorated WWII Veteran, bus driver, truck driver, trucking business owner and a police officer in Garden City, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho as well as a sheriff's deputy in San Bernardino County, California.
Jack was a friend to many and stranger to none. He was an avid golfer and even at the age of 90 years still managed to get in a couple of rounds per week at the Prairie Falls Golf Course.
He leaves behind his son and daughter-in-law Jack and Barbara Jordan of Post Falls, Sister Charlotte Hughes of Nampa, Idaho; grandson John Jordan (Gwen) of Alameda, California, Granddaughter Lisa Hernandez (Larry) of Rancho Cucamonga, California; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 64 years Charlene Jordan, son Terry Jordan, brother Ken Jordan and sister Wanda Gulley.
