Helen Page

Helen Marie Page, age 83, resident of Post Falls, ID passed away at the Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene, ID on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012. Helen was born November 28, 1924 to Walter and Leone (Hughes) Luckenbacher of Detroit, Michigan. She attended Centerline High School in Detroit where she met her childhood sweetheart. She and Freeman "Fred" E. Page were married on July 1, 1944. They moved to Southern CA in 1953 and moved to North Idaho in 1972. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Fred and siblings Vivian and Wally. She is survived by children; Juanita Lee Poller, Barbara Lou Deckon, grandchildren; Carl Freeman Duncan, Danny Ray Duncan, Hunter Lee Poller and sister Carol Christy. Helen loved gardening, sewing, crocheting, boating, watching Fred fish and going to the beach. She was also an avid bowler and could still throw a strike until a couple of years ago when she gave it up due to health reasons. A memorial will be held in the spring.
