Helen Elaine Kincaid, 65, of Spirit Lake, Idaho, passed away on March 29, 2023.
Helen was born in North Bend, Oregon and lived most of her life in the Pacific Northwest, in and around Everett, WA. Helen worked at the Boeing Company for 25 years, starting as an electrician and retired in 2017, as a manager on the 777 Final Body Join. At work, she was known for getting in the trenches to get the job done, not taking crap from anyone and being a prankster.
She lived an active life, traveling and enjoying the outdoors as an avid cyclist, doing the Seattle to Portland bike ride a few times, triathlon's including the long-distance Ironman, swimming, fishing, and recently had taken up snow shoeing. She loved walking her dogs, drinking coffee in the early morning hours, feeding the deer, elk and moose in her backyard and spending time with her grandkids.
Helen was a kind, generous person, who loved big and would be the first to give you a hug or a slap upside the head, whichever was needed. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile. Above all, Helen truly loved others and animals unconditionally.
Helen leaves behind her partner Greg Bertsch, his children that she loved as her own, Nathan (Kaylee) and Taylor (Lauren), her beloved grandchildren, Graham, Everett, and Oliver, dogs Bear and Roxy, along with family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho on April 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Guests are invited to join the family after the service, at the Picnic Shelter in Q’emlin Park, 12201 W Parkway Dr in Post Falls.
