Hazel Marie Nicholson

Hazel “Harri” Marie Nicholson, 69, of Post Falls, Idaho passed away March 1, 2017 at Kootenai Health. Harri was born January 9, 1948 in Anacortes, Washington to Eldridge and Elnora (Rollins) Hollis. Harri spend most of her childhood in the Wenatchee area. She later moved to Spokane, and finally settling in Post Falls, in 1986. Harri worked most of her life as a bartender and for the Idaho State Liquor Industry. She was a member of the Catholic Church, and enjoyed flower gardening, working in her yard, crocheting, playing Scrabble with her family, completing crossword puzzles and collecting western memorabilia. She is survived by four children Sam (Jenna) Neal of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Casey (Michelle) Neal of Hayden, Idaho, Brandi (Brian) Shrope of Troy, Idaho, and Tiffany (Kori) Patton of Post Falls, Idaho; eighteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three Sisters; one Brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. Harri was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one son Jimmy Neal, and one granddaughter Kimiko Neal. A celebration of Harri’s life will be held at a later date.
