Harold Dean Lillie

November 24, 1932 — December 28, 2019

Harold Dean Lillie was born on November 24, 1932 to Herbert and Wilma Lillie in Perkins, Oklahoma. The eldest of three children; having two sisters – Betty and Willow. Harold is survived by his five children, Carolyn Berry of St. Maries, ID, Brenda Pfitzer and John Lillie of Post Falls, ID, Harold Lillie of Suncrest, WA and Angela Lillie of Oroville, CA; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 1950-1953 he spent three years in the Air Force and attained the rank of E-4. He was assigned to Lackland AFB in Texas for basic training and then sent to Guam for duration. He held an interesting assortment of jobs during his lifetime, some of which included being a member of the Brentwood Police Department, Corning Police Department, and Mendocino County Sheriffs Department. He owned a Gulf Service Station in Red Bluff, California owned a mountain automotive parts route business, worked for AT&T and John Hancock. Later, he become a real estate agent; then a real estate broker, owning his own real estate agency. Harold was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Duck/goose hunting was a favorite He enjoyed flying and had a small aircraft pilot’s license. Playing the guitar, singing, and gardening were also hobbies. He taught each of his children the song “You Are My Sunshine”, which was sung at family gatherings. He was a member of Real Life Ministries and Living World Fellowship in Post Falls. As a member of Real Like, he worked with the veterans, greeted church goers, and helped with security. He loved the Lord and always had a smile on his face and an out-going personality and lots of friends. He will surely be missed by his family and friends, but we know that he is in a much better place with the Lord; having passed away on December 28 th , 2019. A celebration of Harold’s life will be held at the Bell Tower Funeral Home chapel on Friday January 24 th at 1:00 PM.
