Gregory L. Oldham, of Mundelein, 66, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born September 13, 1950 in Spokane, WA where he was a graduate of University High School and went on to receive a B.A. in business from Washington State University. Soon after he married his high school sweet heart. Greg was a former sixteen year resident of Kenosha, WI. where he was an active member and bishop at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Greg was a successful entrepreneur but his work and passions were all secondary to his family and his church.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Karen Oldham of Mundelein; his mother, Barbara Oldham; three daughters, Monica (John) Fawson, Heather (Glenn) Harris, Rochelle (William) Pickett; eight grandchildren, Ammon, Mychalea, Caleb, Bayley, Isaac, Noah, Zoey, Gunner; by his sister, Marcia (Roger) Anglesey, by his Great Uncle Jerry Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon John Oldham.
A funeral service was held in Buffalo Grove, IL. on Saturday, January 21, 2017. A Funeral service will also be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2017 with a viewing at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints Evergreen Chapel, 14111 E. 16th Ave. Spokane Valley, WA 99216. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Spokane, WA.
