Glenn Goodliff LaBolle, 85, of Spirit Lake, Idaho passed away March 8, 2014 at his home. Glenn was born March 12, 1928 in Renton, Washington to Harry Leslie and Dora Frances (Miller) LaBolle.
Glenn was raised in Kent, Washington and attended and graduated from Meridian High School in 1947. Glenn met Lowana Ruth Maine while Lowana was attending a youth group on Spirit Lake in 1952, and Glenn was visiting his aunt who lived on the lake. They stayed in contact righting letters back and forth, and were later engaged the following summer and they married in June of 1954.
Glenn worked for Boeing from 1945 to 1990. He started part time during the summer and was later hired on fulltime the day after he graduated from high school. He worked his way up to Machinist all the time being trained by Boeing. After Glenn retired he and Lowana sold their house and moved Spirit Lake, Idaho in 1996.
Glenn was an active member of the Village Chapel (Ev-Free) Church, and with his wife Lowana enjoyed being a youth group leader. In Idaho they were active members of Spirit Lake Baptist Church.
He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed making knives of all varieties.
He is survived by his loving wife Lowana of the family home in Spirit Lake, Idaho; two children Rebecca (Tom) berens, and Debra (David) Smith; five grandchildren Kelsi, Tyler, Emily, Ashley, and Grace Smith, and one grandchild Lisa Combs.
Glenn loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He also loved his wife Lowana greatly.
