Genevieve Dorothy Irvine Moran (Gene) was born September 16, 1924. She lived in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She graduated in the class of 1942 from Mount Clemens High School. Mother earned a Real Estate license from Fullerton College while residing in Yorba Linda, California.
Gene was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril Anthony Moran, sister Carol Collick of Oak Harbor, Washington. She has a living brother, Varnum Bowers Irvine of Mesa, Arizona.
Mom was married to Cyril Anthony Moran on January 18, 1944 in Columbia, South Carolina. They had four children, Michael Bruce Moran residing in Hayden, Idaho, Renee Jean Moran of Hayden, Idaho, Valerie Joan Leonard of Wildomar, California and Donna Jane Speck of Sugar Grove, Illinois. Grandchildren; Brett Leonard, Sean Speck, Cody Speck and Jake Speck. Eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
Genevieve held a real estate license, dabbled in commodities, enjoyed ceramics and creating her own latch rug designs. She liked to sew, knit and crochet. She's lived in Michigan, California, Arizona and Idaho. Genevieve sailed on a container ship for 44 days to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand the home again. She volunteered at a local hospital on the central coast in California.
