Gail Dean Grogan, 78, of Spirit Lake, Idaho passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 17, 2023.
Gail was born on December 25th, 1944 to Lowell and Mabel Grogan. As a lifetime resident of Spirit Lake, he cherished his community and the beautiful surroundings it offered.
Gail had a deep passion for the outdoors and found solace in nature. Whether it was fishing on the lake or exploring the nearby forests, he found joy in every moment spent amongst the wonders of Idaho's landscape. His love for nature was only surpassed by his love for family and friends.
Throughout his life, Gail worked as a dedicated truck driver. With unwavering commitment and skill, he hauled various goods including freight, logs, dirt, and chemicals. His expertise knew no bounds - if it needed to be transported, Gail was the one to call.
On March 27th, 1971, Gail married the love of his life, Linda (Schultz) Grogan. Together, they formed a bond that would withstand the test of time. Their two sons, Kirk and Jeremy, were their pride and joy. Gail's devotion to his family was undeniable and left an indelible mark on their lives.
Gail will be deeply missed by his beloved family and friends. His infectious laughter and jovial nature brightened the lives of all who knew him. We will forever cherish the memories shared and hold him close in our hearts.
Gail is survived by his loving wife Linda Grogan, his devoted sons Kirk Grogan and Jeremy Grogan, his brother Leo (Nancy) Grogan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws who held a special place in his heart.
Although we mourn his loss deeply, we take solace in knowing that Gail's spirit will forever remain with us. A memorial service to celebrate his remarkable life will be held at a later date to honor the legacy he leaves behind.
