In Loving Memory of Fred Lloyd Hutchinson, from Rathdrum, ID, who passed away May, 27th, 2022.
Fred was born in Ketchikan, Alaska in 1936. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Until his passing, he still had his military ID in his wallet.
Fred was a scout leader for many years. He worked for Caterpiller-Western State as a Welder/Mechanic for 41 years. He went back to school and received his GED at the age of 54. He would never miss reading the funnies and always said it was the best part of the paper. He loved living on the lake, never wanting to move away.
Fred is survived by his wife Verna Jean Hutchinson (Fah) of 63 years. He is also survived by his six children: Joe (Donna) Hutchinson; Frances (Bob) Leonard; Rosalie (Duanne) Sells; Sandy Hoctor; Roberta Dresser and Dale Hutchinson. Nine Grandchildren: Patrick, Thomas, Brandan, Adam, Mike, Vickie, Rachel, Samantha, Amanda, Fifteen Great-Grandchildren, as well as many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Fred is survived by his Brother John (Mary) Hutchinson and Jim (Doris) Darby.
He is preceded in death by his Mother Ida Darby; Step-Father Lee Darby; Brother Clark Hutchinson; Sister Terri Brown and Sister Martha Darby.
