She was born April 20, 1926, in Almo, Idaho, the third child of eight of LaVere and Genevieve (Bateman) Adams. She married Thomas Cecil Plaster in Spirit Lake, Idaho on December 16, 1946. She has lived in Kimball Junction, UT; Careywood, ID; Walla Walla, WA; Spirit Lake, ID; Huetter, ID; Post Falls, ID; Spokane, WA; Anacortes, WA; and Olympia, WA. She worked at Farragut, ID Naval Base in the Commissary; M&L Dry Goods, in Millwood, WA, as a salesclerk; and Playfair Racetrack, as concessions worker. She has many “forever” friends. After the passing of Tom (1983), she took it upon herself to care for and uplift a large group of elderly women. For years, her daily routine was calling them, picking them up in her “yellow submarine” station wagon all over Spokane Valley, to take them to lunch, movies, church, dances, and other activities. She also loved making dolls for her grandchildren. Her career was “domestic engineer”, including her favorite activities of wifeing, mothering, grandmothering, great-grandmothering, and friending (even though she was not on Facebook). She attended school in Park City, UT and Sandpoint, ID. She met her eternal companion, Tom, on the Sandpoint school bus, when he got on and saw her, and told his friend “I’m going to marry that girl”. She loved to camp and fish with her husband, children, siblings, and grandchildren (her stage name was Beth “Fish On!!!” Plaster). She was an angel to more people than we can count. She is survived by her son Jim Plaster and his wife Debby (Grubbs) Plaster (Spokane, WA) their children Angie Meyers, Lindsey Raber, Camron Plaster, Brandon Plaster, Tyler Plaster; her son Virgil Plaster and his wife Charlene (Robinson) Plaster (Spokane Valley, WA) and their children Chad Plaster, Corey Plaster, Kurt Plaster; and her daughter Debbie (Plaster) Herman and her husband Rich Herman (Olympia, WA) and their children Haley Graham, Chris Herman, Tommy Herman; her brothers George Adams, Lowell Adams, sister Maurine Gravelle; and 45 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Tom, her mother Ada Genevieve, her father LaVere, her brothers David, Blaine, Wendell, sister Vera Rae, great grandson Benjamin Plaster and many other loved ones and friends. After Tom’s passing, she had their marriage sealed for “time and all eternity” in the Seattle Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many capacities in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Church Childrens’ organization, Church librarian, Church Single Adult organization, election worker, and adult family home resident “social director and comforter”. In the early 1950's she served as Mayor of Huetter, ID while Tom served as the town Marshall. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1824 East 16th Ave., Post Falls, ID. Internment at Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley, WA.
