Eric Sean Bartlett of Athol, Idaho passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 60, with his family by his side at Kootenai Hospital, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho from unexpected sudden cardiac arrest. He was born at Stanford Hospital, Palo Alto, California to Harold and Darlene Bartlett, who have passed. Eric grew up in Pacific Grove, California, and graduated from PG High School where he played football, and basketball and ran track. He also worked at Troia’s Market in Monterey while attending high school. After graduating he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah with his sister to attend the University of Utah. He started working for Smiths Food King and moved up into management and quickly became a store director. He moved frequently with his job and eventually moved to Arizona, where he met his wife of 28 years, Jody Pearsall, who he married in Lake Tahoe, California. They have two boys, Austin and Dylan Bartlett, of who he’s very proud. Eric has five siblings, Christine, Brenda, Kevin, Tim, and JP, that survive him.
He loved being with his family, his German Shepherd canine Kids, gardening, cool cars, and the outdoors. He enjoyed coaching a baseball team with his son Austin while living in Henderson, Nevada. He will be remembered for his funny personality and the pranks he would play on those he loved. He had a deep personal relationship with God that he shared with his friends and family.
