Douglas Wayne McCall

Sergeant Douglas Wayne McCall passed away August 3, 2023 in Coeur D' alene, Idaho.  He was born in Porland, Oregon March 9, 1980.  He retired in the Philippines and lived there for the last 5 years.
 
Doug was never married not for lack of trying but he never found the "one" and he never had any children.
 
Doug's nickname was Dougie when he was young in his teenage years he changed it to Dougie Fresh after joining the military he added a new nick name Fresh Airman. For the most part Doug grew up in Portland and McMinnville, Oregon.  He joined the Air Force in 1998 where he made a career as a Munitions Systems Craftsman.
 
Doug earned many awards in the Air Force: Air Force Commendation medal 5 times, Air Force Achievement Medal 2 times, AF outstanding unit award 6 times Air Force Good conduct Medal 6 times, National Defence Service Medal , Afghanistan Campaign Medal with service Star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Korean Defense Service medal, Nuclear deterrence Operations service medal  2 times, Over Seas short ribbon 4 times, Air Force overseas Long, Missile maintenance , NATO Medal.
 
Doug traveled all over the world while in the military but fell in love with Orient.  When Doug retired he choose the Philippines as his home.
 
Doug had some very good friends there, Matt, Brett and Rick were his family away from home.  Doug and his friends fished, camped, played pool and of course drank beer and just hung out together.
 
Doug loved to Fish, Camp, Garden, play pool, read and last but not least loved to play with the computer and his computer games.
 
Doug  was raised up as a Christian, but as he became an adult, not one to believe anything  because  someone told him too, he began researching different religions as well as Christianity before deciding he would remain a Christian.
 
Doug is survived by his Mother Julie Sutherland; His sisters, Sheri Lowe, Stacy Huddleston, Lisa Winegar, Crystal Feltus; His Brothers Travis Clubb, Shawn Clubb and Brian Hector as well as many Nieces and nephews. 
 
Doug was Very Loved and will be missed until we see him in Heaven!
