Rutledge, Donald M. “Don” Coeur d’Alene, ID/Cottage Grove, WI – Donald M. “Don” Rutledge, age 78, Born December 6, 1936 in Madison, WI was called to heaven on Saturday, February 28th, 2015 in Coeur d’Alene, ID. He is preceded into heaven by his parents Charles and Florence (Whiting) Rutledge and siblings William, Robert, Mary and extended family members. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Strand) Rutledge and children; Kim (Juan) Carrillo, Tina (Dale) Schaefer, Chuck Rutledge, Donna (Chuck) Schlimgen, Nichole (Jamie) Schroeder, Florence (Mike) VanSlyke, 20 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He had a love for his country and proudly served in the Navy. He spent 52 years driving long-haul semi. The last 12 years of his career was spent with his loving wife by his side sharing laughter, music and adventures along the way. After retirement he enjoyed connecting with family and friends on Facebook and sharing his passion for our lord. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all who have been blessed to know him. Services will be held when he is brought to his final resting place in Madison, WI.
