DAVE FERRUGGIA     3/19/1952- 01/02/2019

On Wednesday January 2, 2019, we lost our loving father and friend David Ferruggia. He will be missed by so many.

Dave is survived by his brother Tom, 4 children (Becky, Bob, Hope and Paul 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Dave was born on March 19, 1952 in Summit New Jersey to Thomas and Mary Ferruggia.

Dave will be greatly missed in our lives and is in gods loving arms now, joining his mother, father and sister.

With Dave’s huge heart, he knew that he wanted to help in the community. With that he owned a successful printing company and could tell anyone just about anything about any big printer (machine) that he saw. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Chico as a Social worker and started programs at Kootenai County juvenile detention center and counseled many children.

Dave was playful with a wonderful sense of humor, always telling good and maybe sometimes not so good jokes.

He loved to be on the water in his boats and loved his 4-legged babies in which he adopted.

Dave also loved cooking Italian food and hosting diner parties, he would even dance in his chair to great food, he also enjoyed making and sharing the best Iris coffee recipe he knew. “The best Iris Coffee”.

Following Dave’s wishes there will be a small celebration of life with close friends and family on Saturday. We invite all to light a candle, give condolence, or tell your best stories about Dave Feruggia at the Bell Tower website for the memorial book.
