David Anthony Costa was born April 18th, 1949, to Claude and Gloria Fern Costa in Carmel, CA and was raised in Monterey, CA. At the age of 17 he entered the USMC and served three years in combat fueling fighter planes in the air and also fighting on the ground in combat. He also won a Purple Heart award for saving a comrad"s life. Upon returning from his tour, Dave headed North to Idaho. With the exception of a few years he spent his remaining years in this beautiful state. He always called Idaho his "home". Dave"s vocation was as a Cable Technition. He was well respected by his co-workers and requested by many of his costomers for his outstanding preformance and kind guidence when helping a costomer over the phone. Dave loved his motor cycle and was known to many in the valley as "Bicker Dave". Dave learned too late that he had cancer. He left us too soon after hearing the news. Dave leaves behind two brothers. one sister, one son, two daughters, and a handful of Grandchildren. He especially leaves behind some verry good friends in the Lemhi valley. Dave will be missed by many as he had some good friends in the Salmon area. There will be a celebration of Dave"s life and a scatering of his ashes for those who wish to attend.
