Daniel James Stringer

Daniel James Stringer Jr., 70, of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho passed away February 1, 2016 at Life Care Center of Coeur d' Alene. Daniel was born December 15, 1945 in Plummer, Idaho to Daniel Sr. and Ercie (Andrews) Stringer. Daniel grew up in Plummer where he attended and graduated from Plummer High School. He later joined the Job Corp, until 1966 when he moved to California. There he worked for Honeywell Industries, before moving back to North Idaho in 1971. He loved model trains, tinkering with electronics, and listening to music especially Elvis. Daniel is survived by one sister and her husband Lydia and Wally Schaffer of Post Falls, Idaho; two nieces Alayne (Joe) Hartley of Post Falls, Idaho, and Cynthia Schaffer of Post Falls, Idaho; nine great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private family service will be held at a later date.
