Christopher Michael Lancaster

February 23, 1983 — January 13, 2018

Christopher Michael Lancaster, 34, of Post Falls, Idaho, tragically passed away on January 13, 2018 from a fatal car accident in Hayden, Idaho.

Chris was born on February 23, 1983 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to his loving parents. He grew up in Post Falls, Idaho and was a member of the graduating class of 2001 at Post Falls High School. Most of his peers would say he was the popular kid with a heart of gold, always genuinely happy and generous. A few years after high school, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and began pursuing a career in Information Technologies. He attended ITT Tech in Spokane, Washington and graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Information Security Systems. He was also a proud member of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. All throughout his life, he was well-liked by all who met het him and had the innate ability of making friends wherever he went. He was the type of person who wanted to make sure you were laughing and having the time of your life. He was able to make anyone feel welcome, accepted and important. On the outside, he was funny, outgoing and playful, but on the inside, he was kind, gentle and tenderhearted. Whether he was at the center of a group of friends telling jokes, enjoying vacations with his family, shuffling his boots on the dance floor or being the best dad to his two young boys, he was dearly and deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Chris is survived by his two precious young boys, Ryan, 8 and Connor, 5; father and mother, Michael and Evelyn Lancaster; two sisters, Amber Guzman and Mistina Davis; two cousins, Dustin Lancaster and Jason Hill and so many more beloved relatives.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Hanson Sr.; grandmother, Barbara Lancaster; uncle, Kenny Lancaster; aunt, Lorraine Zolman and two cousins, Heather Hill and Kayla VanDinter.

We invite all who knew and loved Chris to attend his Celebration Of Life service on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00am in Post Falls at His Place Church located at: 3079 E. 16th Avenue, Post Falls, Idaho.

On behalf of the entire Lancaster and extended families, we would like to publically thank our entire community for the continuous outpour of love, support, kind words and generous donations to our family in this most difficult time.

A closing message from our hearts to yours: love deeper, forgive quicker, dance longer and laugh louder, for this life is far too precious and the people in it, irreplaceable.
