Chad Vincent Gardner, 19, went to be with our Lord November 2, 2012. Chad was born in Frankfurt, Germany to Timothy and Stacey Gardner joining his sister Cori. Chad's first years were spent traveling around Europe and then on to Ft. Carson, Colorado. He then found his way home to CDA, Idaho when he was five. Chad played basketball and football from pee wee up to high school. He enjoyed playing Call of Duty; and on weekends you could find him playing Yugioh tournaments, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends. We are very proud of the man he had become. He was wide eyed and accepting of others and easily touched the hearts of those that knew him. He was uplifting to others that felt troubled, embraced the spirit of fun and his heart would melt around children. He hunted and fished with his Grandpa and Uncle and played hoops with his cousin. Chad loved to play cards with his family at his Grandpa's house, hand and foot in particular. When Chad and his sister were being silly they quoted lines from funny movies like Joe Dirt. Chad loved to make people laugh with a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. Not to mention he was a big ham. He loved all types of music from oldies to Johnny Cash to country and hip hop and loved to dance to them all. Chad had a big furry love too, his dog Tyco. He loved to take him to the dog park and they would chase each other for hours. Tyco was his baby along with his big investment, his car. His first car he bought himself and he couldn't be more pleased, he treasured it. Chad was a very talented writer and gifted artist. He had a brilliant mind and a big, loving, caring, and kind heart and soul. Chad will be very much missed by all that had the wonderful chance to know him. Chad is preceded in death by his Great, great grandma Gorman, his Great Grandma and Grandpa Hawks, and his Grandma Gardner. Chad leaves behind his mother, Stacey Gardner, his sister, Cori Gardner, his father, Tim Gardner, stepmother Colleen Gardner, sisters Aly and Ava Gardner, as well as his Grandma Sue and Grandpa Bill Guice, Uncle Jason and Aunt Jamie Guice, and Cousins Taylar and Kyle. Viewing and memorial will be held Tuesday, Nov 13, 2012 from 4-7 pm at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, ID 83854.
