Bonnie Jo Williams (Meyer) passed away on April 9, 2013, surrounded by family and friends, after an extended illness. Bonnie was born October 2, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Pearl Emlor Sensibaugh Williams of Missouri and John Everett Williams of Michigan. Bonnie attended Ventura High School in California and graduated from UCLA with a degree in teaching. In 1960, she married Thomas Gene Meyer of Omaha, Nebraska. Over the years, Bonnie taught for the Los Angeles City School System, volunteered to lead the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) program at St Joseph Catholic church in the city of Placentia, California and was very active member of her church.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband Tom Meyer, sons Jeffrey Bruce Meyer and Jonathan Paul Meyer, daughters Elizabeth (Betsy) Meyer Jones and Kathryn Meyer Peterson, granddaughters, Nichole Marie Doyle Dougall, Amanda Jo Doyle, and Penelope Louise Walsh, grandson, Hunter Frederick Jones and great-granddaughter, Kathryn (Katy) Marie Walsh
A memorial honoring Bonnie and her memory will take place on May 11, 2013, at 11:00am, at His Place Church, 3079 E. 16th Avenue, Post Falls, Idaho.
