Billy Frederick Dunn Sr.

Billy Frederick Dunn Sr. November 9, 1935 – April 14, 2014 Born November 9, 1935 in Anderson, Indiana to Mildred E. Dunn; joined The United States Marine Corps in 1952 and served during the Korean War as an Airplane Mechanic on the USS Wright. After his enlistment in the Marines he enlisted and served in the Army as an M.P. for an additional 6 years. He married Ethel C. Tallman on March 1, 1960 in Bakersfield, California, he is survived by his wife- Ethel C. Dunn and children, Billy Dunn Jr., Shawn Dunn, Roy (Andy) Dunn, Millie Wallen, and Deana Scott. He also has children from his previous marriage, Ricky Dunn and Rhonda Jakes and step-children Tiry Jones, Ginger Scott, Mike Jones, and Cathy Belk. In addition to his children, 32 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. During his time on this Earth he had many accomplishments including teaching and mentoring to many young children within the Boy Scouts, Hutton Settlement and church youth programs. He was loved by all and will be missed dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, ID.
