Beverly Jean Lance Weekes (80), passed away November 06, 2021, peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her family per her wishes. She was born July 30, 1941 in Eden, Idaho. Her parents were Vernon and Lorene Lance.
She attended school in Eden and Valley high school. After school, she married Junior Weekes and resided on her father's farm just east of Eden before moving to the Boise area (living first in Meridian) where they lived in a wonderful home for over 23 years. Their days were filled with gardening, fishing, hunting and living by and on the water with the family they loved.
Beverly enjoyed needlework and crafting of all kinds, from beautiful quilts and afghans to doilies and dolls. Her resulting creativity won numerous awards from the Western Idaho Fair for her outstanding creations! She was also an avid reader and enjoyed crosswords and a variety of puzzles.
Her children blessed her with 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way. She loved her family and friends, and looked forward to visiting with those who stopped by! She and her sister Donna were close and talked often
Throughout her life, she worked at Red Lion, Roadway Inn, Dairy Queen, Kmart, and Sears call center. The rest of the time she was gardening, crafting or canning for hours in the kitchen.
She is survived by her three children: Rick(Darla), Robert, and Renee;
Her grandchildren: Marissa, Breanna, Sarah, and Tom; her great-grandchildren: Delta, Tryn, Everly, Brantley, and Kenny.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Vernon and Lorene; her brother, Gary; and numerous family and friends.
Beverly will be missed deeply and forever as we mourn the loss of our mother, sister, grandma, aunt, friend, neighbor. We will miss her funny ways and her beautiful smile, her strength and compassion, her ability to speak her mind and we shall never forget the love she gave to us through even the hardest of times! We love you forever and always ❤
