On September 10, 2013 Betty (McCrite) Cotter passed away at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA after fighting valiantly to recover from multiple strokes and a life ending aneurysm. She now joins her predeceased husband, Cliff Cotter, in peace looking down to help guide on those she left behind.
Betty is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Tina & Jerry Tipke; son & daughter-in-law, James & Susan Cotter; 6 grandchildren, Marissa, Joshua, Caitlin, Corey, Kayla, Cheyenne; 7 great grandchildren, Jacey, Justin, Rileyray, Emmy, Kiernan, Rylan and Broden; sister Edna Grytness and brother John McCrite, and unlimited family and friends.
She was a stay at home "Nana", teaching her grandchildren new & exciting things in life. She had a full and exciting life beginning with being born here in CDA and then living in Alaska. She love to cook for any & all, her bread and cinnamon rolls bringing everyone running. She had a passion for fishing, painting and reading.
May she be at peace amongst the warmth & light of heaven, shining her light down upon us all as she guides her family along the path to living.
Donations may be made in her memory to Harborview Medical Center/Stroke Center. Memorial Services will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, ID on Sunday October 13, 2013 at 1:00pm.
