Barbara Marie Custer

Barbara Marie Custer, 70, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2016 at Coeur d' Alene Hospice House of North Idaho. She was born January 7, 1946 in North Dakota to Jane and Gustav Dade. She was later adopted by her grandparents Arthus and Hilda Triebwasser. She moved around a lot as a child. She same to live in Coeur d' Alene, where she met and married James E. Custer on January 11th, 1964. She focused on caring for her family which consisted of four children. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved the outdoors including camping, Huckleberry picking and mushrooming, family picnics and BBQ's. She loved to bake and cook she worked at Steins Bakery in Rathdrum. Her husband Jim passed away August 2001. She is survived by four children James Custer Jr., Daughter Sheri (Bryan) Strope, Robert (Cindy) Custer and David Custer; four grandchildren, Brittany, Robbert, Keven, and Kaiden; three great-grandchildren Gabe, Ely, and Nazariah; and many nieces and nephews; her step father Vern Quinn, Brother John Bischcff and sister Jackie Parr. A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 27th, 2016 at Real Life Church in Post Falls in the upper room 1866 N. Cecil Rd.
