Obituary of Arthur George Ryan Arthur George Ryan, beloved father, grandfather, and husband to Rita Ryan, passed away February 20th, 2022 in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho due to Covid. Arthur was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey on April 25, 1965. He spent much of his life in New Jersey and moved to Idaho, via California, in 1997. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. A lifetime sports enthusiast, Arthur loved football above all else. He was a HUGE Philadelphia Eagles fan. "Fly Eagles Fly" He was also a big fan of Gonzaga basketball. Art had a great zest for life. He was a force to be reckoned with and definitely lived life his way. His hobbies included fishing, camping, going to the gun range and boating. He enjoyed being outdoors. One of Arthur's biggest traits was his ability to make others laugh. He was quick witted with a comeback and you never knew what he would say next. He missed his calling as a comedian. Arthur loved the Lord and his family fiercely. He knew scripture well and felt honored to bear witness to his fellow man. Arthur is survived by his wife Rita, son Jonathan aka Jack, grandson Michelangelo, brother Paul, sister Diane and brother-in-law Jay Adlestone, as well as his precious puppy Willow Girl. He is preceded in death by his father William James, his mother Audrey Omelia nee Hill and his beloved dog Rufus. He will be missed by his family and friends. A memorial will be held at a later date.
