Tony T. Phelps, 37, of Athol, Idaho, passed away on November 21, 2021 in a tragic accident driving his work truck and trailer on I-90 outside of Ritzville, Washington. Tony left behind his wife, Brianna (14 years married) and his three children, Kaiden (13), Kamden (7) and Karolina (5 months old). He also leaves behind his mom, Tami; brothers: Wilbur Rule III and Christopher Phelps; nephew, Wilbur Rule IV; Aunt Tina; Aunt Mary; Uncle Paul; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Gregory Scott.
Tony Loved his family more than anything. He spent all his time with his kids, telling them stories, playing sports, fishing, and always laughing. He was a great husband, father, friend, and provider. He was funny and had a laugh like no other. He was adventurous and goal driven. Tony was perfect. Tony was passionate.
He loved spending his time fishing, playing with his kids, watching football, riding his motorcycle and working. Tony worked for himself for many years as a mechanic and as an auto body painter. His love for motorcycles and trucks became his business.
The best times in his life were always on the road. Road trips as a family… laughing, telling jokes, listening to music, fishing and going out to eat… Tony loved to be adventurous.
He also enjoyed football and sports as a family. Outside of work, he dedicated all his time to sports practices and games. Tony and his kids' tradition was NFL Sunday. “Sunday Fat Day”, eat, watch football, fantasy football and eat some more!
There will be a Celebration of Life in July to celebrate his beautiful life and his birthday. A Go-Fund-Me page has been set up to help support his wife and kids during this difficult time. Tony was a bright light in this world… he will be forever missed.
