Anne “Page” Harmon passed away on November 30, 2015. Born and raised in Tacoma, WA., Page's love for dance led her to Washington State University in pursuit of a degree in physical education. Upon graduating with her degree, Page accepted a job teaching for the Department of Defense “overseas.” It was at this time that she met her husband of 42 years, Larry.
After starting their family in Germany, Page and Larry moved to Post Falls, where she would teach English and P.E. for the Post Falls School District from 1979-2004. Her passion for teaching and her love of her students stayed with her until the end. She always enjoyed her former students stopping by to share a little story about something they learned in her class. During her time teaching in Post Falls, Page was awarded the American Legion Teacher of the Year multiple times in recognition of her work during the week of Veterans day each year to ensure that those who served would never be forgotten.
Page retired in 2004, and she continued with her hobbies of making baby blankets and pine needle baskets. She always looked forward to time spent with family and friends.
Page is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Larry, two sons Scott and Brad, daughter-in-law Staci and five grandchildren: Jensyn, Kensley, Aiden, Keely, Faith, and brother Jonathan Ward.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Dec. 12, 2015 ~ 3:00 pm at Bell Tower Funeral Home 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, ID.
