Andy Ruben Whitmire Jr.

Andy R. Whitmire, Jr. of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho was born in Kermit, Texas on February 12, 1937, and passed away December 1, 2023 in Coeur d'Alene. Andy was raised in Napa, California, and in Arkansas. He retired to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho after 35 years with Kaiser Steel and Napa Pipe. He spent 30 years pursuing his passions, hunting, and fishing on his favorite Idaho lakes. 

 

Andy is survived by his wife Beverley, his brother Jerry and sister Carlene, one son Kenneth, two daughters Tonya and Toni, and two step-children Darrell and Karen. Grandchildren include Ricky, Jr., Andrew, Sherrilyn, Raelynn, Nick, Emily, Daniel, Erica, Ben, and Angelia; and 12 great-grandchildren. 

 

Andy was preceded in death by parents Andy, Sr., and Mabel, sons Ricky and Wayne, brother Sherrill, and sister Deane.
