Aldon Dale Meador, age 71, of Spokane, passed away February 22nd, 2023 in his home surrounded by family. Dale was born in Orofino, Idaho on January 12th 1952. He enlisted in the army and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his service during the Vietnam War. Dale graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts. He worked various jobs, ultimately retiring as paratransit driver for Spokane Transit Authority after 24 years. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dale was married to his wife, Debbie for 32 ½ years. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, 6 children; Allen, Julia, Michael, Robert, Rachel, and Crystyne, 5 step-children; Tammy, Jenny, DeAnne, Britany, and Jared, 22 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, three siblings, and his granddaughter, Alura.
Dale will be buried at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake.
