Jean Ardell Randall

April 27, 1945 — June 19, 2022

Jean Randall was received into the loving arms of her Savior on June 19, 2022. She passed away peacefully in Hayden, Idaho with her daughter Debbie by her side. Jean will be laid to rest in San Jacinto Valley Cemetery. She was born April 1945 to Vina Violetta and Jesse Calvin Barker. Her growing up years were spent in Minnesota and on a farm in Wisconsin. She met the love of her life, Adrian, when she was a teenager. They married in 1963. Family was the most important thing to Jean and spending time with her daughters was her hearts desire. She was supportive of her kids and grandkids in all of their activities. She loved having fishing contests to see who could catch the most fish. The grandkids usually won! She would have sleepovers with the grandkids in her 5th wheel. They loved to visit her and grandpa to get gummy worms and popcorn. Jean loved spending holidays with her extended family. It was always a houseful of fun, food, and games with her sisters, parents and nieces and nephews. Jean and Ade loved to dance. They could wear a hole in the dance floor. They were also part of a bowling league when they lived in Lake Elsinore. She devoted much of her time as a volunteer in the community. For many years she was the landscaping 4H leader. Her knowledge of plants and landscape design helped her members win numerous awards. She also ran the Lake Elsinore Rodeo Queen contest as “Queen Mother”. She helped the contestants put forth their best efforts in modeling, poise and speech. Leading a small group for Bible Study Fellowship and organizing Women’s Ministries brought her great joy. Jean was organized in all aspects of her life. This asset helped in her professional career as a Shaklee Salesperson, Real Estate Agent, and Office Manager. Some of her favorite hobbies included fishing, traveling, reading, gardening, writing and tole painting. Traveling around the country brought her and her husband much joy. They went on a trip of a lifetime to Alaska and caught huge Halibut. After her beloved Adrian passed away she wrote a book about him and his legacy. She also wrote stories about faith and worked to get them published. Her loving husband Adrian, her mother, father, and brother George preceded her in death. She will be missed and survived by her sisters Vonnie Holmgren and Judy Peryea, daughters: Heidi Newman, Sheila Atkinson, Debbie Carson and Laura Robinson, grandchildren: Nicki, Ryan, Katie, Erin, Kyle, Chad, Holly, Christopher, Olivia, Lexi, Cameron, and Dylan, and 8 great grandchildren. All whom dearly loved her will never forget her tenacity, antics with water, compassion, and utter dislike of the color red. In honor of her compassion for helping others, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Operation Underground Railroad. O.U.R. is a non-profit that helps fight human trafficking. https://ourrescue.org A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held in lieu of a service. Dear Family and Friends, As each new season of the year comes, with its own joys and beauty, and then passes onto the next, with its beauty and renewed hope, so life goes too. The new light green shoots that spring forth from the earth and the trees, in the spring, give us the hope of new beginnings. Warm lazy days of summer, with a deep green canopy of shade, give us time to reflect on how awesome God’s creation is. Fall, and the brightly colored leaves that die and silently flutter to the ground, shows us that part of life does wane and end. And when winter comes with its glorious white cover as the earth rests, we are reminded of the glorious final place of rest for our souls. And so as we reflect on the changing seasons, we see the promise that as we pass from the beauty and joy of our earthly life, we go on to the peace, joy and majesty of our eternal life. It is my wish that you find today a reason to celebrate, to smile through your tears. Do not cry tears for me, for I am full of Joy and with my Lord and Savior in a place where there is no pain, no sadness, no suffering. I have not left you, for I shall be with you every day, in your hearts and in your thoughts. When you experience the seasons, remember me…remember always the many good times we have shared together, and the tough times too, for they are the ones that make us turn to the Lord for His strength. My earthly life was very good to me, God was my strength, my shield, and my defender. He will be your strength and comfort too, if you let Him. If you have not or cannot remember ever asking Jesus to come into your heart, I hope you will do so today, for I love you with an everlasting love, and want to see you again, when you join me in this wonderful, majestic, awesome place with our Lord. There are no words capable of expressing the gratitude I have for your love, friendship and support. That love and support made a very real difference in my life and now I hope my life’s end on earth will give you a renewed hope in Gods perfect plans for your life. Jeanne Randall 1945-2022 Jeans sustaining verse thru her illnesses has been Isaiah 40:31 Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength They will mount up with wings like eagles They will run and not get tired They will walk and not become weary “How Great Thou Art’ “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” I’M FREE Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to live, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I’ve found my peace at the close of the day. If parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I’ve savored much. Dear Family and Friends Please do not sing sad songs for me, Forget your grief and fears, For I am in a perfect place, Away from pain and tears. I am far away from hunger, And hurt and want and price, I have a place in Heaven, With the Master at my side. My life on earth was very good, As earthly lives can go, But paradise is so much more Than anyone can know. My heart is filled with happiness, And sweet rejoicing, too. To walk with God is perfect peace, A joy forever new.
