Georg Nagrone

December 2, 1952 — September 1, 2016

Georg Nagrone, 63, of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho passed away September 1, 2016 at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. Georg along with his twin brother Pat were born December 2, 1952 in Auschaffenberg, Germany to George (Pineapple and Regina (Meta) Emig Nagrone. As a child Georg moved and lived in various places throughout the United States, as his father was in the United States Army. After his father’s retirement from the service the family ended up settling in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. There he attended and graduated from Coeur d’ Alene High School. After High School Georg joined the United States Army. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Coeur d’ Alene area where he lived until his passing. Georg met Charlotte Parsons Schell in May of 2014 and they were later married August 15, 2015. In his younger years Georg was a great boxer, and loved competing as an amateur, and eventually on the United States Army Boxing Team, until a car accident sidelined him, but Georg’s enormous courage and will enabled him to defy the medical predictions and not only walk again, but return very successfully to amateur boxing, until his mid 40’s. Georg was a gentleman through and through who always insisted on opening the door for his wife Charlotte. He was a lovable guy who made friends wherever he went. He loved having a good time, a good laugh, and always lived for the moment. He would dress up for every holiday wearing funny costumes to celebrate, but his favorite holiday was always Christmas. He loved dressing up as Santa for all the children. He was also an amateur magician, and was a member of the Spokane Magician Club. Georg also loved hunting and spending time with his friends and family in the woods. He had a great singing voice even though he didn’t like to admit it, and was also a guitar player. Georg is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of the family home in Coeur d’ alene, Idaho; one son Adam Nagrone of Spokane, Washington; two daughters Desiray (Shea) Nagrone of Post Falls, Idaho, and Angelia Nagrone of Coeur d’ alene, Idaho; four brothers Pat (Lita) Nagrone of Post Falls, Idaho, Bob (Donna) Nagrone of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Dan (Carla) Nagrone of Spokane, Washington, and James (Donna) Nagrone of Post Falls, Idaho; two sisters Sonja (Jim) Sheck of Priest River, Idaho, and Debra (John) Nagrone-Koza of Post Falls, Idaho; seven grandchildren; 15 nieces and nephews; and two step-children Adam (Ashleigh) Starchman of Spokane, Washington, and Cody (Michelle) Thompson of Post Falls, Idaho. Georg was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Georg’s Life will be held Saturday September 10, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Bell Tower Funeral Home 3398 E.
